Super clean,Very helpful staff,Mark is a great host.downstair Double room(1200 RS 1 night)on ground floor which it I find very warm,I move to 3rd floor(1600RS)it very windy & attach BALCONY u can see a liitle bit sea view,For who just want book 1 night u need to email directly to Mark.as on Hostelworld web site it request min 2nights.Also on this web site show Ocean View is the cheaper! There are rooms near by this street.But those places are very OLD & run down.I Recommeded Ocean View high floor rooms.This is the best place in Negombo.

Excellent place,Sparkling clean.

A very good guest house Mr.Mark and his staff are excellent.The rooms are clean and well furnished. Having lodged at various guest houses in Sri Lanka. I would say this is the best and very good value.Thank you.

we spend in Ocean View absolutely lovely days.everything was perfect,all the staff,place,food and the tour for 5 days.we spend the best time in sri lanka with Mr.Douglas-tour guide,really recommend him.Owner - Mark is very friendly and good man.We came back from 4 months travelling in asia,we had one of the best time here.thank you for everything and we will see again...good luck for all of your family Mark

Has not got sea views now as another line of properties have been built, you still get great views from the roof terrace ' great central place in negombo . Owner is very accomodating and Mark the owner does trips to kandy ,elephnt ophanage botanical gardens, his all round knowledge of sri lanka is amazing .would not advise anyone to hire self driven cars driving is insane, book Mark Thamel.

Just a brief word- to express my sincere thanks for your hospitality on my recent visit to Sri Lanka.

I really enjoyed my visit, and will look forward to the next one.
