In juli/aug 2005 i was with my mum in Sri Lanka.
Marc is very friendly and correct.
We did the tour that he recommended,it was great,Marc did a very good job!!

Ocean View was recommended to us by friends, and we were certainly glad of their advice. To be greeted by Mark's cheery smile at the airport around midnight after our flight and then whisked away to this relaxed friendly place was a welcome start to our Sri Lankan holiday. Likewise, at the end of our time in Sri Lanka, Ocean View proved to be a great place to recover from the rigours of travel before we flew away.
Overall, a very friendly and welcoming guesthouse that caters well for the weary traveller.

The first time we met Mark,he was a little boy learning english and riding a bike.Later we had some tours with the best guide we ever had.The family Thamel is so nice and friendly, that we every time we arrived in Colombe, we stayed for some days in the Ocean View and by departure the same.Das Lob in Sri Lanka von Rainer Krack ist nicht übertrieben.We see you again Mark next year.

This place is truely 'my home, away from home' while in Sri Lanka. Very friendly guest house, great staff, and very safe and secure, and dont be afraid to ask, these folks are willing to help in any way, to make your stay most enjoyable.

Our teams have stayed at Marks Guest House several times and always we are treated very well by his staff. It is our home away from home! Mark goes way beyond the ordinary to take care of his clients. We always appreciate his information and knowledge of his country. There is no place else worth staying at in Negumbo!
